I have stayed many times in Brindisi and I think I have been to all sort of hotels, always searching for the best to stay with children or alone. Well, I finally found it! In the centre of Brindisi, very near to the airport (you can take a bus and it takes 7-15 minutes), next to the train station, and 7 minutes from the harbour. It's elegant, very modern, extremely clean, with large soundproof rooms (great if you have children). Buffet breakfast is great as well, with nice coffee and fresh orange juice, fruits, and cereals amongst many other foods.
The best of all was the staff, so helpful and polite, ready to fulfill your every need immediately.
Unlike other hotels, they like having children and they are very flexible with visitors. I will definitely come back again.

Palazzo Virgilio is an amazing hotel in the heart of Brindisi. Is super modern, very stylish, very international and with a great Italian character. It's right in the center of Brindisi, 2 minutes from the train station, 2 minutes from the taxi station, 5 minutes from the port and 1 minute to the shuttle bus stop that runs to the airport every 15 minutes. It has been renovated few months ago and the result of the works done is just fantastic. You won't find any other hotel like this in town or in the areas around. Starting from the reception area to the bar area, going from the outside lounge to the congress room and finally the rooms, you will have a unique experience. Hotel is very "American style" but it has lot of Italian character in it. Staff is very helpful, friendly and ready to help you whenever you need it. Rooms are very modernly decorated with any kind of hi-tech comfort you could need during your stay. Cleanliness is very high and sleeping here is very relaxing. I loved this hotel that much that i decided even to have my wedding venue here and the organization of it was superb. Food is amazing too: you will try the best Italian dishes made with a 5 star style by the best chefs in the area. Prices could be a bit expensive if compared with the rest of the hotels in Brindisi but it's definitely worth it.

I have used this hotel a couple of times when I am down south for business. Good hotel, very modern, good size rooms, clean and the location is great (close to the airport..depends how fast your taxi driver can drive, opposite the train station and walking distance from the center). The rates are also very competitive.

I was a little scared by the earlier reviews when I got booked at this place. But they are outdated, as the hotel has been entirely refurbished last year. It is now completely new, clean and even with a reasonably good breakfast buffet. Location is terrific, as it is across the railway station. The airport is no problem anyway as it is only 15 minutes away from downtown Brindisi. Much better than expected.
