Stayed in the Palace Hotel for 2 nights, in one of the largest hotel rooms i've found in Italy! Asked for a quiet room on a high floor which the staff had no problem finding for us. Overlooked the back of the hotel so not much of a view, but it was quiet as promised. The bathroom was also a good size. The decor is a little bit tired and it is basically a large functional hotel rather than cosy/quirky/romantic. The bar area is large but in a very open space near the lobby, so you don't really feel like settling there for too long. The staff were very obliging with our questions, and got us a taxi within minutes of asking (although we did walk from the train station which was fine, about 20-30mins). The breakfast was a good spread. The location is right between the old and new towns, so easy to get to either. I only realised a mix up with the bill when I'd got home (had pre-paid then charged again upon departure) and they refunded me immediately. Would stay there again.

We stayed in Bari for two nights at the Palace Hotel and found the rooms very comfortable and large. The bathrooms were spacious and well appointed.
The staff at the reception desk were very helpful and offered suggestions for things to do and see in Bari.
The breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from and set in a very elegant breakfast room.
The hotel is a very short walk to Old Town.

Good location, but a little pricey considering that the room wasn't very modern. It was very spacious though, with a good bathroom and a balcony from where you could see the sea. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Most of the rooms (very clean and of good size for European standards) would probably need some renovation. But it's the perfect location, the very pleasant and professional staff and the delicious breakfast buffet which make this hotel a very good choice for a business or leisure stay in Bari.
