My husband and I recently spent two nights at Hotel Adele in May. The hotel was fairly easy to find using the directions provided on the website (if traveling by train just be sure to get off at the Mestre stop). The bedroom and bathroom were both nice and clean with ample space. We were thrilled to see thick bath towels as some of the other places we stayed in Italy had very thin towels! Breakfast was great, and a variety of choices were offered. The only challenge we had was speaking to some of the people working at the front desk. When we arrived there was an older gentleman working who did not speak any English at all. We had picked up a few Italian words but it was very difficult to communicate. We were trying to book a taxi to take us to the airport very early in the morning and it would have been helpful to confirm in English. Fortunately, the person working the desk the next morning spoke some English and we were able to get everything squared away. Overall we had a very nice stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a room close to Venice without the ridiculous prices.
