We stayed there July 4 and 5, 2008. It is in Vicenza, not Venice. It is just outside the US Army base, and is an overflow referral when the base guest hotel is full. And this hotel filled up both nights. It was very nice, rooms were very cozy. Everything is tile and marble-floors, walls, etc. The breakfast buffet was great both days. The staff were very helpful. Bus stop across the street, and we bought bus passes at hotel for 1 Euro to go downtown-just 15 or 20 minutes away-in order to take train to Venice. Only thing that kept it from being a 5 star is we were there during a heat wave, and even with Air Conditioner on full, it did not get very cool.
Some rooms are doubles beds, some two twins, and one even an apartment with a double and a twin.
