We were so impressed with Villa Beatrice when we stayed for a night in 2010 that we returned all the way from Australia to spend three days there in 2011. Villa Beatrice is located amongst the hills a few kilometres out of Verona. Simone's English is excellent and all his guests are warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The huge garden is absolutely beautiful and it is SO relaxing to sit on the verandah with an evening drink and enjoy the garden, the view and the absolute peace. Simone's breakfast, which includes his home made fruit juices and scrambled eggs, is really yummy. When we left this time Simone gave us a little jug of his extra virgin olive oil which had been made from the olives in his garden. I was very touched by his kind gesture and I cherish that little jug - a very special memento of Italy. The oil is great too!!

Anyone that stays at Villa Beatrice will fall in love with Simone and his wonderful establishment. It was home away from home. My husband and I stayed there during our 25th anniversary vacation and were very happy with this lovely and special place. We left with Simone now as a dear dear friend! We arrived by car and used the GPS coordinates which made it easy to get there. When we arrived Simone had wine waiting for us and gave us the tour of the b&b. My husband and I were the only individuals staying at Villa Beatrice, so we literally felt like it was our own vacation home with a kitchen, den with tv, computer area, and big room in the downstairs level which had a shower ensuite. It is warm, inviting, comfortable, and special. There was even a washer available so we washed a few things which was helpful. The breakfast was special as well; Simone offered eggs, delicious homemade cake that his mom bakes, croissants, breads, rolls, ham, cheeses, yogurt, and fresh ham, but we opted to keep it simple by having the homemade cake, croissants, and yogurt only. The most special part of the morning breakfast was that we had his very special "magical potion". Each morning was a different blend of fruits/veggies and it was absolutely delightful! Each morning he took time to go through the plans for the day and recommended sites, restaurants, and shopping. He also offered two Verona Cards at 15 euro/each which we used for seven different sites....very helpful that he had the cards available so that we didn't have to go searching in Verona for them. He also gave us a free parking tip which is very close to everything; unfortunately it was full due to a Horse Show that was held in Verona the week we were there. Simone gave us another parking recommendation which was a covered garage...very close to everything and safe. We have two border collies at home, and when we saw Simone's dogs....Ceecee and Zeus (border collie) we were thrilled. They stay outside and are wonderful dogs. What made Villa Beatrice the most special is Simone! He is so kind and generous! We loved talking to him about his b&b, Verona, his adventures, and everything under the sun. Our last morning we had to leave at 6:30 a.m. and Simone insisted to make breakfast before we left. We didn't want to inconvenience him as it was too early, but he kept on insisting which was very very thoughtful. We appreciated this gesture very much Simone...glad we left with one last magical potion drink! Simone, thank you sincerely for making our trip to Verona very special. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

I first want to thank simone for his wonderful hosting-it was phenomenal!!
We stayed over 4 nights in October-7 people:my inlaws and sister in law,in 2 rooms and we (my husband and myself)+1 kid & a todler in 1 room.all rooms were upstairs:well equiped,very clean and cousy.The bathrooms (2)were outside the rooms,it was o.k-very clean and spacious.
The villa itself is beautiful,nice to come back after a long day outside,knowing that the fireplace is on.It also has wi-fi.
On top of that there are the excellent breakfast which simone was conducting in a great way-ask him about the "secret potion" he made us every morning,or the wonderful almond cake his mom made.Simone always waiting with a big smile and great advises and tips.
My one last tip is to get there on your first time at daylight,it was a bit tricky to get there.but once you see it -you could never forget it.

This B&B was more wonderful than we had anticipated. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms spacious and everything was clean and comfortable. The drive to his home was a great adventure for us...very much "Italy". Simone was the icing on the cake. He sat with us when we arrived and helped us plan our 4 night stay. We did everything we had set out to do but couldn't have done it without his help and advise. Simone had breakfast ready for us each morning and was there to help us with our day once again. His special "juice" was wonderful and the homemade cake very delicious. Coming home at night, it was nice to have the use of the kitchen to make tea or have wine, etc. The view of Verona from this B&B was spectacular. You won't be disappointed!
