recently stayed here for one night we had two of the three rooms. the location is very good we were there for the opera at the arena which is only about a 5 min walk away. no guaranteed parking outside arena domus but the large quite new parking site "cittadel " is a few minutes walk in the opposite direction and cost 14 euros for 24hrs. the breakfast was basic but good for the money paid. we had access to the kitchen which means you can cook for yourself if on a budget also good to have the fridge freezer for keeping our wine chilled. rooms, although had ceiling fans, were very hot but were clean and basic. would return to this accommodation but mainly for its good location.

My husband and I stayed at Arena Domus several days ago. The guy who met us is very attentive and kind, he helped us with sightseeing (gave a piece of advice and a city map), served a tasty breakfast and kept our luggage even after check-out - we are very thankful to him!!!!
The room was nice, cosy and clean.
Arena Domus is the place, where we'd like to come back some day.
Highly reccomend!!!!!

A decent and reasonably priced B&B created out of a private apartment located within a 5-minute walking distance from the famous Arena. The owner, a young Sicilian, actually lives in another place and has someone who lives in the B&B look after the guests for him. However, upon check-in, he will be there to welcome you and without even being asked, helpfully explain an itinerary that you can take in the old quarter. He recommended us two great restaurants, Osteria da Ugo and Osteria Duomo (tucked in Via Duomo). The bathroom is shared between 3 rooms, so it was not so clean (there should be a sign on the door telling people not to wear shoes into the bathroom; we found a black shoe-mark on the floor mat) and the bathtub is rather old. Our room was spacious and with a balcony, however the view is nothing but buildings on the opposite side. Breakfast was average (bread with jam, plus coffee). Ask the caretaker for wifi access.

B&B Arena Domus is not exactly a hostel; it's a flat in central Verona owned (or at least run!) by Alessandro lives in one room and rents out the other three. There is a shared bathroom and he gives you (included) breakfast in his kitchen. We really liked it; very quiet, a lot of character, basic but clean and spacious room. The bathroom had a shower and bath, and was also very clean. Probably not ideal if you want to meet other backpackers or spend time in a communal area, but perfect for a couple of nights if you are with a partner/friend/travel companion/are not fussed about meeting people at a hostel.

The location really puts the icing on the cake - the ampitheatre and centre of Verona is a 3 minute walk away (5 mins if you dwadle!).

Alessandro is extremely helpful and accommodating.

I really enjoyed the change from fairly impersonal hostels, and I would definitely go back!
