We really enjoyed this place. The rooms very very chic, bathrooms very cool, breakfast excellent. You walk outside, down the street left, and the ancient arena is RIGHT THERE! Awesome shopping street within minutes.

I gave the service a lower mark because when we arrived, there was no parking for us because of work being done to the garage. This was understandable, but when we brought all of our luggage in (because we didn't want to leave it in the car in a public parking garage down the street), we were struggling and no one even asked us if we needed assistance. The elevator is tiny, and the cart barely fit...and again, several staff members were just standing there, watching us struggle with the luggage. Not very nice, I must say.

I, my wife, and my sister, stayed in this hotel, from 18th Nov 2011, as its in the heart of the historic cenre near the Arena. The hotel is situated close to tha famous shopping district and restaurants. The reservation staff were so polite and friendly, and the breakfast manager and staff went out of their way to please us. The executive bedroom and bathroom was spacious. Will be booking again for next year 2012.

Location cannot be bettered, but it is not just the fact it is within eyeshot of the Arena... the staff are warm and welcoming, accommodation is very comfortable and stylish (we booked an Executive Room), breakfast was generous & continuously replenished, and basically it is just great value for money. We visited for 1 night to see the Christmas markets & decorations, and our trip was topped off by staying at this super hotel. We travelled with toddler and it was ideal to be able to pop back to the room when we needed a break from the crowds. Yes the rooms are "compact", but well organised. I could have done with a kettle but with so many coffee bars within walking distance it wasn't really a problem! Will be back for sure. TIP for those driving & using GPS - write down the driving instructions from the hotel website as our GPS got us lost & thankfully we had the driving instructions to find alternate roads and routes.

We had booked last minute the week before at 95 Euros for the night for a double, but were offered an upgrade to an executive room on arrival. Good size room, very recently renovated, very good mattress and view (with your neck craned) of the Arena at the end of the street. Breakfast is very generous by Italian standards (buffet with eggs and bacon, cereals, cheeses etc). Only minor point of criticism is that staff friendliness was a little hit-and-miss - some were very smiley and helpful, others more on the grumpy side. Nevertheless, very much recommended.
