My partner and I stayed here for 1 night as we were heading for a cruise out of Venice. The location close to the main train station and 15 minutes walk from the centre is good and thestaff and service were very good but the rooms themselves are still from 20 years ago. The air conditioning didn't work, the TV was one of those you bought in the 70's and 80's and the sky service they have didn't work. The hotel itself iss in good decorative order but they need to spend some money on the room amenities. The price of €130 was way over the top for what it is and where it is ... even London can offer better quality at lower prices.

Would I stay again? Maybe if they improved the rooms and prices were more in line with the the vicinity €80-$90 would not be unreasonable.

After staying in some lesser rated hotels in Lake Garda, this hotel was terrible. If you like views of industrial landscape and a main road then this is the place for you! Also if you like to see finished food delivered by room service left in the corridor for at least 12 hours then book. Buffet breakfast poor - food not replenished when finished, and if you need some stale bread to feed some ducks then there is plenty of that, but if you want nice fresh italian bread then you wont find it here. Computer for internet access not working. Decor is dated and could do with a serious upgrade. Only positive point was the friendly man in the car park (which is €15 per day).

The hotel is well located near the train station (which also serves as the bus terminal if you are using the bus service from the airport). The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the arena as is a little out the way, but the walk was easy. Despite the fact that the hotel was full due to a big event in the arena, we checked in easily but our room was a disappointment. We had asked for non-smoking and this room reeked of smoke!. We complained and were offered another room which was much better. The room was a good size, but showed signs of wear and tear e.g. bathroom had mould on some of the bath seals. Sky TV was not working for the duration of our visit over a weekend; they said no engineer will visit on the weekend! There were no tissues in the bathroom despite the holder on the wall; when I asked the chambermaid, for some tissues she said there were none available until Monday (when we were leaving). Finally there was no brown bread on either Sunday or Monday; again they said no delivery on the weekend!

I completed a compaint card requesting a partial refund and await to see whether I receive a reply.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel on a visit to Verona but you would be advised to shop around on the price as what we paid was not really good value for money.

The hotel is very nice itself. The rooms are great, and the staff very friendly.
It is only a little bit far away from the city centre, which bothered us.
