Good for an Italian hotel. Room big enough for two, comfortable and clean. Some evidence of damp, but to be expected in Venice. Breakfast very good. Will make scrambled eggs on request, which is a rarity in Italy. Staff mostly very friendly and helpful. No lift, but again not uncommon. Easy enough to find, but have to drag bags over large bridge from station. Got a water taxi back, which cost 60 euro. Venice is one of the better places to go in Italy.
