“Amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2010

The hotel is ideally located on a very quiet square, very nice district.

The room was great, modern, calm, not very large but we did have enough space. We chose this hotel because of the design and the jacuzzi in the room, and we weren't disappointed.

Staff is efficient and helpful. You can leave you luggage to enjoy your last day in the city.

The breakfast was a little bit disappointing, but was OK.

“The most fantastic hotel and service you could wish for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2010

With so many hotels in Venice, it was hard to make a decision on where to stay, but we based our decision on reviews on this site. I'm so glad we did. I can't praise this hotel enough. It was fabulous. The rooms were spotless - we stayed in two different rooms during our stay, of different standards - both were spotlessly clean and perfect for our stay. Each room is unique and has been tastfully decorated and restored to offer it own unique character. But by far, the greatest thing about this hotel was the service. The receptionists, during daytime and evening shifts were so helpful and would go out of their way to help you. During our stay we experienced a variety of manners from restaraunt staff, not all good, so it was always good to come back to this hotel and be treated so well. The staff were brilliant, making you welcome and helping with any queries or isses. For the first two nights of our trip we stayed in a superior room (Leather) which was lovely and for the last night we opted to take advantage of the "pink" room which was available (their finest room in my opinion). The Pink room was beautiful, romantic and a lovely treat. Even the cheaper standard rooms were of excellent quality and I think because this hotel has just six rooms, they have taken pride and care in the quality and personalaity of each charming room. If we go back to Venice, without doubt, this would be the hotel we would want to stay at. Perfect for couples. We are honeymooners and it was a terrific choice, especially the Pink room, with it's own jaccousi bath and beautiful decoration. The breakfast was lovely too, great variety, superb quality of food and wonderful and polite service. This hotel has gone the extra mile to make the quality of the decor special and different. Once again, we thought the staff were terrific. A great stay at a charming hotel. It's well located too, 5 minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge and a further 5-10 mins walk through charming streets and to St Marks Square. Their official website gives you a much better view of the hotel and each room. Check out www.info@giuliettaromeohotel.com

“A Dream :-)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

I absolutely loved this hotel. Upon arrival we believed we were going to get one of the rooms with a jacuzzi etc. However, our mistake booked the wrong one and they were easily able to put us in one of the other rooms with a jacuzzi :-) It pretty much made the trip, the room was beautiful, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was gorgeous.
I would go back in a heartbeat !
Xxx

“Booking confirmations are redundant at this hotel..”

We booked to stay at the Giuletta and Romeo Hotel 3 months in advance and were looking forward to staying in what looked like a beautiful hotel on the website. After a long trip we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon only to be met by the manager, who advised that there was a black out in our room. Because the hotel was at full capacity he offered us another room at their B&B - Hotel Diamante until the power was restored in our room. We were extremely disapointed because the B&B was of a lower standard to the hotel we had booked and I had splurged on this hotel for my partner's birthday.

2 days later we had heard nothing from the manager so we went back to the hotel and spoke to a man at the reception. When we enquired about the room he told us there were guests in the room. So it became clear that the manager had lied to us and moved us because of a double booking. The man at the reception even admitted to this and told us that it had happening a lot lately..

When we returned to our B&B, the manager was there and when we asked what was happening with our room he told us that the power had still not been fixed. When we told him we were just at the hotel and there were guests staying in the room he became completely irrate and started yelling at us. We were told to leave the B&B and not pay anything and it wouldn't matter to him. It became impossible to discuss the matter with him due to his aggressive manner an he eventually stormed out.

We ended up staying at the B&B which was nice and the lady there really looked after us. However our experience at Giulietta & Romeo was terrible and really did spoil our stay in Venice. I would warn anyone against booking with this hotel because chances are you won't end up staying there.

Stopped in Hotel in May,2009.
Small cosy hotel on 6 rooms, all rooms on 2nd floor.
Good big pure rooms in style hi-tech, the big bathrooms, interesting interior.
The friendly and attentive personnel: have sent to us by mail to Moscow the nursery of a toy forgotten in room, for what separate thanks from us.
By all it is advised!
