This hotel had a great location and was in a nice and quiet area, but still extremely close to the action. Breakfast was great as was the seating area. The hotel is tiny but we loved its charm and how nicely renovated it was. Rooms seemed brand new and the bathrooms were great and clean. Rooms are tiny but they were perfect for us. Owners were great and friendly. There is a restaurant there as well which was lovely. There is also a outdoor rooftop patio that was nice and relaxing to sit at. Highly recommend this hotel!

The charm of our surroundings and accommodations was outdone only by the graciousness of our hosts, Stephano and company. Ideal location, only steps from vaporetta (water taxi) and St Marco Square which gave us great flexibility... we stepped out our door and the magic of Venice unfolded before us! Beautiful outdoor terraces up in rooftops of Venice, best breakfast of trip! We will return.

The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Venice (at the back of the Palazzo Ducale). it's clean fresh, welcoming and has all that you would wish for a short stay in Venice.

There's lots to like about the Ca' dei Dogi. It's in a great spot, just a couple of minutes from San Marco and close to the vaporetto stop and lots of good restaurants. The staff are lovely and very helpful. They go out of their way for you. The room was lovely in many ways- beautifully decorated, very clean, quiet- but it was also very tiny and I'm quite claustrophobic. This is the only negative I have for this place.
