The staff were so friendly and helpful here! The rooms were pretty small but comfortable. There is a water taxi stop about five minutes away to get you around the city. The 40 restaurant is just up from the hotel and had great pasta.

Having read all the good reviews on TA I was a bit disappointed about this hotel, although my rating may be influenced by the high expectations! The staff was OK, not particularly friendly but they did their job allright. The room was a spacious corner room with no view whatsoever (the two windows faced another taller building with only 2 meters in between!), whereas the bathroom window faced a roof and courtyard of some apartments across. The bathroom was spacious and clean, although we had some minor issues with the shower. The room design was just average as all the rest, nothing really wow. Breakfast was just OK, with poor selection of food, no fresh fruit juice, and coffee almost undrinkable, which is unacceptable in an Italian hotel. Location was quite nice, in the Sestiere Cannaregio, not far from the rail station nor from the San Marco square. All in all not a remarkable stay and luckily the room rate was not too high, I would probably look for another hotel if I would go back to Venice even if I would have to pay a lilttle bit more!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very nice, the breakfast was terrific and the service was great. Prefect location in a very pretty part of the city, away from the crowds. A great hotel!

Comfortable, good breakfast. Service pretty faultless. Room 412 was only okay really, bathroom a little small. Bed comfy. Would be nice if they had free WiFi.
