Nice small Hotel near Realto. 10 min walk to main attractions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was descent size and clean. Definitely would recommend.

I stayed at Ca' Leon D'Oro for one night. It was a great location - just a very short walk from the Rialto ferry stop. I had read the reviews that warned that there was no lift in this hotel - and this really is an important thing to note if you have a heavy bag (which I did, as I was travelling for 3 weeks). There are a lot of steps to walk up to get to your room.

The staff were friendly and helpful, letting me print out the voucher for San Marco (you can book to enter San Marco for 1 euro on the official website, and save waiting in the queue). The rooms were clean and tidy. And the breakfast was basic but nice.

There is wifi for 5 euros.

I would recommend this hotel, particularly for a short stay due to its convenient location.

Other than the fact that they were the only open place around, I would not eat there again.
We got there because our hotel recommend it.
Went to many other places in our trip to Europe and the relation price vs offer was negative.

Lesson: dont trust the host when choosing a restaurant, our experience was that it always comes with a big check and no so nice food or service. When we check before with trip advisor the experience was wonderful, good food at an affordable price
