The 2 main problems with this place are a complete lack of knolwedge on how to run a hotel and, if you take a room with shared bathrooms - there are definitely not enough bathrooms and you could wait 45 minutes in a line to get in.
To begin with, when we checked in, the woman who appears to run the place, was extremely disorganized, first acting like we had no reservation, and then telling us 3 different room numbers. She also didn't give us a key, so we had to ask for it! The hotel is in 2 parts, so we were staying in the Biasin part across the canal. The problem was they did not give you a key for the outside door. So you always had to call on the intercom over to the other hotel to get buzzed in - which late at night means waking the woman up! She also didn't ask us about paying, so we assumed we would pay upon checkout. We had an early morning flight, so had to check out around 4 am. There are signs at Marte explicitely telling you to leave your key there when you check out. However, when we went over there to check out at 4 am, the woman yelled at us for walking her up to give us the key instead of leaving it in the room! And again, once we had left Biasin already, we couldn't get back in without waking her up using the intercom anyway, since you are given no outside door key. She also yelled at us for not having paid before - yet no one had ever asked us to pay before - and was upset that we wanted to use a credit card, though they advertise everywhere they accept credit cards.
Also, the breakfast that is included is not at the hotel itself, but they give you a coupon to go to a bar next door to get a drink and a croissant.
This place is deifnitely not worth the hassle.
