“Great find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

We stayed here for 2 nights for a quick visit to Venice and thought it was the perfect location. It was a short walk from the train station and in the middle of lots of shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable and included breakfast. Although they say that you can only get wifi in the lobby, we were able to get it in our room on the third floor. This hotel was a bargain for Venice, and we would definitely stay here again!

“Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

Clean and big rooms, great breakfast for just € 5 per person. (breads, croissants, milk, coffee, tea and juice) extremely confortable. Totally recommend it.

Room Tip: For those who carry heavy luggage get to first floors, there's no lifts on the hotel.

“Convenient location made all the difference.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

For our family of 4, this was a great find! European hotels are very different from American standards, so when you get past that hurdle, you'll be fine. The hotel is like 2 blocks from the train station which was wonderful and super easy to find! It's down a little alley way (but most of Venice is alley ways) not too far down the left right out of the station. The room had a queen (2 twin beds pushed together) and twin bunk beds. Though the room was very basic, it was very clean and breakfast was nice and the people there were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and were very thankful to find it and it's location.

“Acceptable but little more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

We stayed in Venice at the end of September in what felt like unseasonably hot weather. The hotel was fine and seemed clean but the service was basic and my husband and I were rather caught out on the first few nights by the mosquitos that came to feast on us. Wifi was available but only in the lobby which was disappointing and there could have been more information - we weren't told about breakfast at check in so assumed there wouldn't be any! The breakfast was fine. Service was prompt but lacked warmth. A real plus for the hotel was the location close to the train and bus station (only a short walk over the modern bridge from the bus station) which was preferable to trying to get luggage on the vaporetto! However, the path down to the hotel was being worked on when we visited and there were a few choice smells emanating from beneath the ply board covering the work!

“Basic but clean and decent hotel”

We just came back from a 4 nights/ 3 full day visit to beautiful Venice. The hotel is situated close to the Ferrovia "boat station", very handy to take the boats in almost any direction. Size of the rooms is small but still reasonable, very basic. No airco in our room, so we had to sleep with the windows open and the noise starts around 7am, so if you dont get a room with airco or if you dont bring ear plugs don't expect to sleep too much. Breakfast hour was very short from 8 till 10am only. Breakfast was simple but they diligently topped up anything that was running off quickly. Choices were some croissants, cereals, yogurts, jams, small triangular cheese and some juice. Thats it... and coffee/milk. I found it very expensive for a 2 start hotel, but couldn't find something cheaper and nice, since in Venice everything is so expensive. For a 2 start hotel doh the quality of the service/rooms/breakfast was not bad. I would try to book a hotel as soon as possible (months if possible) to get something better for the same money, we were a bit late booking (only 3 weeks in advance).
