“Could not recommend highly enough”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

This hotel ticked every box. It was my wifes birthday treat and we were made to feel very special and welcome with a bottle of prosecco on ice for when we arrived - ahhhh delicious!!For service these guys get 10/10. They just did all the little things that make a stay perfect, always there to help with anything but leaving you alone to relax - Clean, friendly and very quiet - just what the doctor ordered. The room we stayed in was stunning (very grand tour)....what can I say, it was just Venice and made perfect by the little extra attention to service detail. Highly recommend! They only do breakfast and dont really have a restaurant per se hence the average/good ratings - but it was excellent.

Room Tip: go for the suit in the middle at the front!! balcony to sit and watch the busstle below....

“Friendly, spacious, beckoning to come back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

This hotel is indeed a great value. On a lively, wide plaza, within walking distance to many important venues and buildings, except to get there from the Vaporetto stop you have to walk across four bridges, which is somewhat tough with suitcases. Our room with a balcony facing the square was superb, spacious, pleasantly, though not richly furnished. Michele at the front desk was very helpful with tips how to get to places. The breakfast was good.
We can recommend this hotel with pleasure.

“Hotel Palazzo Vitturi - Great Place”

Just came back from 4 days in Venice. I picked this hotel based on Hotels.com customer satisfaction and price and I was VERY pleased. Great location, 5 mins from Rialto water bus stop and 5 mins to San Marco square. Hotel is a converted 15th century palace facing a wonderful square and church... one of the few open spaces in Venice. Rooms are super clean, very large, 12 ft ceilings and large bath with full size tub. Front desk was the best. Venice is expensive and will take advantage of tourists. Every front desk recommendation for dinner was great food and honest prices. They even had train tickets to Florence delivered to the hotel at no charge. Michael is the manager and usually mans the front desk - he was super and made our trip even more pleasureable. One thing, the rooms are on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator (there is a handicap stair chair) and they glady carry your bags up & down. Typical European breakfast is very good and included. I very highly recommend this hotel.... you can not beatit for service, comfort, value and location. Jim H.

Room Tip: There is one that faces the sqaure that is not their very large suite... try and get that one.

“New Year's stay - two families with four kids”

The hotel is truly great, the staff were very friendly to us and even to our shouting and fighting little angels. The location is great, with a big square in front and a wonderful second hand shop and little canals close to the hotel. I would really, really recommend it! Great value for money, too. The pillows are somewhat hard to sleep on.

“Wonderful staff and service”

This very pleasant hotel in Venice made for a comfortable stay during our recent visit. We stayed a total of four nights. The staff were helpful and sincere, some of the best service I've experienced. This hotel is very close to both Rialto and St Mark's Square. The staff were able to recommend a couple of very good restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quieter location with good facilities and great service.
