We stayed at CaDogaressa for our short honeymoon vacation and had 5 fantastic days. Very clean rooms with super location: quiet, not very touristic, still close to major attractions. Breakfast is served on the embankment what is a real experience! You seat in the morning with your cup of coffee at the canal, look at the boat pass by or at Paolo chating with his neighbors.
We had a deluxe room and it was large and has a canal view, std rooms have no canal view, I think.
This hotel is just a perfect value for money, located in the area, where real life dominates (not only pigeons at San Marco are intersting to look at )and Paolo is a superb host. What else can you expect from such a touristy destination.

Our family spent three nights here near Christmas time. The people who run the hotel are so friendly and accommodating - recommending great restaurants, telling us where to go, etc. The rooms are lovely, beautiful Venetian chandeliers, lovely view of the canal and quite central We had a good time and would certainly go back again.

Very nice hotel, near the railway station. Rooms are very clear and furnished in old-venetian style (~1700). Moreover the zone – near the Jewish quarter – is beautiful and quite. Excellent price and hospitality!

I loved my stay at this hotel! The staff welcomed us with open arms and even tried their best to speak to us in our own language! The room was breathtaking, with a great view of the canal. Location was great for us too, walking distance from all the things we wanted to see, and close to a lot of restaurants and places for shopping.
