Restaurant is very nice food very good, shopping mall and market just around the corner all so the staff was very help full, can't go wrong with this hotel.

When you stay in one of the hotels belonging to one of the large hotel groups, once you step through the door you could be in any city or any country, they are all the same. When you step through the door of the Venezia, you are in no doubt that you are in Italy, lots of gold coloured ornate architraves, statues, marble flooring and heavy rich curtains are everywhere. The dining room was exceptional as far as the furnishings and decor were concerned. The food, while not exceptional, was reasonable and good value. The service provided by the staff was good and helpful and helped us greatly to find our way around the area and Venice. The rooms, which were a reasonable size, were also furnished as per the rest of the hotel. The hotel which is located just off the main street, with no passing traffic was very quiet. All in all a pleasant place to stay.

Pros.
1. Room reminds you of a time in the 1940
2. Beds are comfortable
3. Bathroom clean
4. Restaurant breakfast is normal for europe
5. Bus is a 10-15 min walk
Cons
1. Staff seem to be over worked and short tempered
2. Internet is hit or miss
3. Ants in rooms..we were on third floor?.....
4. Telephone did not work, but was qui k to fix it.

The hotel is located quite a distance from Mestre station. If you are a budget traveller then take a bus or tram ( tram station is a bit away from the central station) otherwise taxi (which I guess should not cost so much)..If you book this hotel through the hotel's website then you get free one way ticket to the Venice Island.. Breakfast was good.. And the staffs were extraordinarily fluent in English (compared to the Italian Standard).. I will of course stay at this hotel again if I do not have a lot of luggage..
