“Nice rooms with unique artwork throughout the place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We stayed for two nights for our honeymoon in October. We booked a double extra comfort and enjoyed the guestroom. The breakfast was nice and on our departure day we had an early flight so they had a to go breakfast for us. The one thing that was strange about the hotel is that when we checked in to our room we were not informed that you should stop by the front desk and let them know when you are leaving. We went out to dinner and drinks our final night to return finding the main gate to the courtyard was locked and our hotel room key would not open it. After repeated buzzing a clerk arrived to open the gate.

It was an easy walk from the train station and when we flew out of VCE there was a close by airport taxi boat.

Room Tip: Make sure to let them know you are leaving for dinner as they do lock the outside gate and you have...

“Clean and modern hotel”

We stayed here for five nights in July. Very good location right next to the main pedestrian artery, but still conveniently tucked away in a quiet alley. Our room was pretty cramped, should have booked a comfort room instead. I liked the clean and modern decoration, it was a nice break from the typical Venetian style. Bathroom had one of those rain shower heads, I loved it. Breakfast was excellent especially by Venetian standards. Very good value for money.

“Great location, wonderful place to stay”

We stayed in Ca' Pozzo Inn for 3 nights and it was great!
The hotel building is new and modern. Room was very clean and spacious. Good, wide choise brakfast.
It was very easy to find (you need to find Stoportega CaPozzo arch right in front of vaporetto/airport boat stop), less than 10 minutes from railway station, right in front the vaporetto stop. It is ratther far from St. Marco (about 20 minutes), but so you can avoid of people crowd which is very important when you want to have some rest. Ca Pozzo located in very quit court.
Personal was very polite, friendly and helpful, assisted us with very difficult questions (for example how to find an address in Venice :)). They are always there when you need their help!
This hotel is highly recommended!
We spent unforgettable week end!
I definitely stay there next time!

“Excellent value and prime location”

Just had two nights at this delightful small hotel in Venice. Fresh, bright, spotlessly clean and very peaceful although located very close to everything you need!
Excellent eateries within minutes walk as is the main bus station (less than 10 minutes) Rail station and Vaporetto stops. If flying in and out of Marco Polo Airport the Alilaguna boat stop is less than a minutes walk taking you directly to the airport (2 services per hour) and takes around 30 minutes.
Although the hotel does not really have much in the way of public rooms, there is a roof terrace if the weather is good. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and fruit salad lovely and fresh.Coffee excellent (although you do have to pay for any extra coffee) but choice of quality teas and no limit to them.Fresh pastries, breads, cereals, cheese, yogurts etc.
Rooms spacious (we had a comfort twin) and pleasant. Bathrooms nice. We really liked the artwork around the hotel.
Staff at reception very pleasant and helpful as were any other staff we met. There are only 14 rooms so fairly quiet.
The rooms were cleaned promptly each day and all towels and bed linen changed with good quality sheets etc. and very comfortable beds.
I would definitely return to the Ca' Pozzo if I go back to Venice which I hope will be next year.
Personally I think the location, which is in the old Jewish quarter, is perfect. It's not really touristy but quite busy with locals in the bars, coffee bars, shops and restaurants. Prices are reasonable and lots of choice.
If you like to stock up on Italian speciality foods there are plenty of well-priced small 'corner-shop' style places with prices much less than the airport shops.
There is a small grocery/newsagents near the vaporetto stop that sells the tickets to the airport although you can purchase on board at 1 euro extra.
Venice is such an great city destination with easy, quick and inexpensive transfers from both Marco Polo and Treviso airports. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Probably worth having the comfort twin/doubles as the standard maybe a little small. Some rooms will...
