“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2008

We spent two nights at this beautiful B&B as a part of our honeymoon in May. The location is ideal, close to the centre but on a quiet part. We stayed in a junior suite which had two small balconies over the canal facing Casanova's palace! The room was large, had a four poster bed and was very nicely decorated. You did not see much of the staff as they are only there for a few hours of the day but they were friendly and helpful enough when you needed something. We were very pleased with our stay and we would stay here again anytime.

“Homeliness to enjoy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 April 2008

For those who want to experience a cosy, homelike stay in Venice, Casa Pisani Canal is an excellent choice.
We were 2 young couples who visited Venice on low season (February) for three nights.
There is no room service or reception but hey!!! it is Venice....we knew where to go and what to see.... Call them when you arrive just to be sure that there is someone waiting for you to check in and give yourself 10 minutes to study your way to the hotel....it isn´t difficult but narrow streets would stress you if unprepared.

Excellent location, decent breakfast, very clean...
What we mostly enjoyed was that the hotel was almost empty at that time and he had the impression that we were guests at a friendly italian family house....
A stay out of the ordinary and much better from many of the 4-5 star hotels we had stayed before.

We stayed at the Casa Pisani and felt their customer service was above and beyond. We left a watch behind and they mailed it to us. Though it was our fault they would not take payment for the postage. The rooms were very clean & beautiful. Breakfast was great. Highly recomend!

“Quiet, Clean Rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2005

We really enjoyed this small, off the beaten path hotel (I hesitate to call it a hotel since it has so few rooms). The rooms are clean - note that they are up one long flight of stairs and there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage, you may be in trouble.

The rooms are clean and so nicely decorated. The location is not far (10 minutes) from San Marco but is off the beaten path and as a result is so quiet.

Staff is only on-site until 13:00. So, if you arrive after, you will have to wait a few minutes for someone to arrive from the other location. You just buzz the front door and it will automatically go to the other location for someone to answer. Have a good map with you and print off the directions from the internet on how to get here since it is hidden. We found it without a problem but closely followed the directions.

Also, don't be fooled by the advertised internet access. Tehre is a computer but you will not be given the password to use it - so you must have a staff member log in for you. But, since staff is only on-site part time, that is the only time you can use the machine (this is due to the Italian anti-terrorism laws that require a business to know who is using the computer and when they are).

I would not hesitate to stay here at all again.

“Spot On”

Stayed for 3 nights. It's only 5 rooms, and no reception, and no staff (apart from breakfast and cleaning). If you want anyhting, or even get in you have to ring their sister hotel, and a chap comes round. N.B. Don't forget to take your mobile with you.
Hotel is fine. Our room was newly appointed, and the breakfasts were good. It is only 10 minutes walk from Marks square, and 15 from the Rialto bridge.
We couldn't really fault it.
Cheers
Martin Hammon
