Stayed for a night. Place was clean, decent and cozy. Though the design is very Venice-ish but oh well its Venice anyway. Two very nice owners, brothers who runs the family business. Good recommendation on food by them.

Might take awhile too locate the place, because of all the confusing street/alley name. But the best tip would be when you get off the train just take a left (heading towards the directions of the shops etc) just walk all the way straight (up a few bridges) and once you spot Mac Donald's (will be on your left) the alley next to it is where you can find the hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights at this lovely hotel doing the Venezia Marathon.
We only have great things to say about Locanda Ca' Le Vele. It is a small hotel in a very good way, fantastic service and great rooms. There were no problems what so ever and a lovely staff, they will help you with everything. I will recommend this hotel to everybody – we had a very pleasant stay :-)

This small hotel was amazing! I am so glad we booked here. We stayed 1 night (wish it was more). It was difficult to find, but only because the person I asked in the store gave us wrong directions (take the water bus #1 to Ca D'oro, exit, walk to the main street, turn right and Calle Delle Velle is the first left). The name of the hotel literally tells you where it is. Upon our arrival, Ivan could not have been more welcoming. He introduced himself and greeted every person in our party. He showed us to our room while making copies of our passports. When we walked through the door we could not believe it was our room. We were a party of 4 adults and 1 small child and were given a suite with a queen-size bed, queen-size sofa bed, and twin bed. The decor is charming and antique while still being comfortable and inviting. We had a balcony that overlooked the canal. It was everything we could have wanted from a hotel in Venice. Ivan helped us to find all the sites and recommended some things for us. Roberto (the night guy) helped us find a lovely place for dinner. Breakfast was included in the rate and was served in our room at our requested time. The cappuccino was PERFECT! It was the best I had during my 4 month stay in Europe. I cannot wait to go back here and for everyone I know to stay here.
We paid 180 euro for one night for 5 people for one night at the end of December.

I stayed here for two nights last February, and loved this place. Very reasonable rates and in a great location - just steps from the Ca D'Oro water bus stop and easy to walk to the main sites. It was also just down the street from an incredible masque shop - perfect for souvenirs.

My single room on the ground floor was tiny, but beautifully decorated, with a full queen sized bed - not two single mattresses! My only complaint about the room would be the fact that the bathroom was VERY small, and the sink's positioning made it interesting to get into the shower - a bit of twisting.

The owners were incredibly helpful, giving great suggestions for restaurants nearby and loaning me an umbrella so I could wander Venice in the rain. Would definitely stay here again.
