Michael, the host met us with open arms. He was very professional and approachable. Our room had a great view over a canal and was cosy and clean. It is in walking distance to all the main attractions. The breakfast room is very tiny however the food was very good.

We stayed two nights at Casa Santa Maria Formosa in January 2012. Michael, the manager, was a true gem. He went above & beyond the call of duty repeatedly to make sure our needs & desires were met. This man stands out head and shoulders above the rest in his efforts to serve our little group of four women.
The Inn itself is in excellent shape - the cleanest and most up to date we saw on our journey of 17 days. It was immaculately clean and very well kept. I highly recommend this place to the average traveler. There is a treacherous staircase to navigate though, as in most places in the area and that is the only pause I would give for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that, highly recommended.

Fantastic location, great staff especially Michael, very curtious and helpful. Lovely breakfast. We had a great time! We highly reccomend this hotel.
