“Fabulous Hotel!”

This is the perfect hotel to stay in. Location is excellent - close enough to walk everywhere and far enough away for the hustle and bustle. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was always sparkling clean.

All the staff were fantastic - helpful, polite, pleasant at all times.
We arrived by private water taxi at eleven o'clock at night. It was so easy to get there. The taxi pulled up at the dock in front of the hotel, rang the bell and someone came out and got our bags. Our room was ready and waiting and the desk clerk was most helpful and charming.

The staff helped with maps, directions and reservations at the opera. Free wifi was a terrific plus for us.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a huge room on the main floor opposite the breakfast room. It was quiet and sunny.

“It's the Royal Treatment at Liassidi Palace”

This hotel has got to be the best kept secret in Venice. The location is perfection, about a 10 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The rooms are a nice balance between Venetian elegance and modern luxury. After walking around Venice all day, the jacuzzi bathtub is an excellent treat! Breakfast is quite standard, but if you get down early enough, try to snag the table that has a view right on to the canal. The staff were very kind and helped out with really anything we needed. All in all, this is the place to stay in Venice!

“Excellent location and lovely hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

We stayed here for 5 nights and really loved the hotel, the location and the staff. We arrived by train and had been told that transportation can be an issue if not prearranged. We decided to take a chance and had no problem finding a vaporetto to take us directly to the hotel. If you can you really should arrive by boat. It's very "Venice". The location is great as it is a short walk to everything and yet is on a quiet canal. After seeing some of the hotels and crowds on the Grand Canal, we were all very happy to be able to retreat back to Liassidi Palace and enjoy a glass of wine in the quiet, lovely courtyard. The staff was very gracious and helpful with dining suggestions, reservations etc. The breakfast served downstairs is quite good and the breakfast room which looks out over the canal is a wonderful place to plan your day. The rooms are small but well appointed and very clean. Be sure to go up to the 2nd floor which has a huge palace type room with windows overlooking the canal. Perfect for a quiet spot to read or just reflect on being in Venice.
I know it is considered touristy, but do yourself a favor and definitley take a few hours to sit in St Marks Square and listen to the orchestras. It is just wonderful.
We will be returning to Venice and we will be staying at Liassidi Palace again.

“Fantastic Accommodation and Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

Being our first 3 night stay at the start of our tour of Italy, it was a fantastic choice. It was close to the tours we were booked on but far enough away from the noise, hustle and bustle of San Marco Square. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, providing us with a map and directions to each location we requested and breakfast each day was lovely with plenty to choose from. I did find that most double beds were two singles pushed together and both the beds and pillows in most places we stayed in Italy were slightly harder than what I'm used to but for me its better than being too soft. There was only my husband and I so the room was sufficient, pleasantly furnished and the bathroom was clean and spacious. I had a relaxing bubble bath each night before bed. The room was discretely cleaned, tidied and restocked each day. The staff organised our water taxi to the train station upon departure, which only cost us 70 euro and not the 100 we were told when we approached a taxi driver to enquire. Overall a very pleasant experience and one I would recommend and return to.

“Almost like home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

We stayed here for 7 days and could not have found a better place in Venice. The staff made us feel welcome when arriving, asked after our welfare every day, and went out of their way to accommodate us. Our bags did not arrive when we did, so the concierge provided us with information to find what we needed. Liassidi Palace is located on a quiet back canal not far from San Marco square. Our room was large, our bathroom was wonderful and breakfast was good. We own a small B&B so we know what people expect in quality service and accommodation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Venice.
