We stayed at an apartment managed by this hotel which worked out well for our family. We had a kitchen, excellent wi fi, and a clean modern bathroom. However what really impressed me was the management. They were nice to deal with by email and phone before we arrived, but even better, they arranged the return of my IPad, which I had forgotten in the apartment. It was a pain for them to handle the international shipping (lots of forms), and they could have easily just said they didn't find it. Instead they were gracious, and I got it back. Thank you Giacomo, Alessandra, and Michela.

Dear Madame Prince,

thanks a lot for your review. It's a pleasure being useful for our beloved guests even if they checked out already, so sending your Ipad was the minimum we could do. Also, good feedback for you, you have been so kind in giving us your fedex code because thanks to that it was so easy to do all the process (even if long)!

Hope to welcome you next time, may be you could try another flat or the hotel. Anyhow I'm pretty sure you won't forget your tablet anymore :)

Cheers

Giacomo

My cousin and I picked this for the location ( right across the bridge from the main train station) and its relatively inexpensive price, and we were delightfully surprised with how nice it was. Our room (and bathroom!) were a good size, with room for both of us to spread out. Upon early our arrival, we were greeted with cold drinks and nibbles, which we consumed at one of the outside tables in the quiet little courtyard onto which the hotel opens. The quiet courtyard was especially appreciated at night, when we were able to sleep well with the windows open. The hotel is one star, however: there is no lift and the breakfast is limited ( but the pastries were excellent!). We received helpful assistance from the front desk, and I would certainly stay here again.

tucked away just off Grand Canal. Over the Scalzi bridge from S Lucia train station, it was easy to find. We were greeted warmly with drinks, nibbles and with information about the area. It is in a quiet area and we found it peaceful at night. Such a good location to walk out into Santa Croce or San Polo, in fact all of Venice.
The hotel is a pleasant find at the price, staff were friendly and our needs were met. Comfortable bed, dark with shutters closed and little noise. No lift might be a problem for some, but you know that before you book.
'Dolce' breakfast was fine, and there was plenty fruit juice and coffee on offer.
I would consider stopping here again for a longer period, as this time was just for one night for an early transfer to the airport. (for which it is very handy, only 2 small bridges to cross to Piazzale Roma.)

A great little find easily accessible from the train or bus station and near the Grand Canal. Our room was comfortable, the continental breakfast good and the free wi-if was strong. I changed our reservation a few times before arriving and always received quick, helpful replies. I'd definitely stay here again!

We selected this hotel for its reasonable cost (for Venice) and good location. It was very close to the grand canal and train terminal. After our visit, I can say that its convenient location made it very easy to get around within the city and a quick walk to catch a train to your next destination. It is located in a quiet square, so noise was not an issue.

The staff were very helpful and even gave us a drink and snack upon arrival. We arrived before check-in time, and they stored our luggage for us while we explored the city. The breakfast was small/simple but was sufficient. The room was small, but was nicely decorated and clean.

The only reason that I rated this 'average' and not 'very good' was the bed. The bed in our room was pretty bad. The one side was very old and soft. When I sat on that side, a spring came up through a sizable hole in the mattress and poked me. We simply covered the hole with a thicker blanket, but it was still pretty uncomfortable.

Ciao Katie,

I wish to thank you so much for your feedback, but I need you to make an extra effort and write to me the room number you were in to check this bed, as actually we changed more or less all beds we have, so I need to check this one if you found out it has a hole

Thanks again

Giacomo
