Great location! We took an Alilaguna (water bus) from Marco Polo airport to our hotel. If you get off at San Marco station, this hotel is only 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is also only a few minutes walk from St Mark's Basilica and St Mark's square which is really convenient.

If you plan to get off at San Marco station, it will be difficult to drag heavy luggage around. There are quite a few steps and since the Rialto bridge and St. Mark's is nearby, there will be large crowds of tourists.

The hotel interior is beautiful as it feels very Venetian, like an old Venetial mansion. However, the room walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbors if they talk loud. The hotel does not have an elevator but that should not matter as the concierge is really helpful when bringing your things up to your room.

The staff at the front desk make you feel at home and are polite and friendly. They can also give you some tips on things to do in Venice. Enjoy!

Great location. This was the second time round stay at Hotel Da Bruno and again their customer service was brillant.
We took the hotel boat again to Murano and purchased some lovely glass pieces and it was delivered to our home in Australia in perfect condition.
Igor was of great assistance in referring us to his choices of dining and we were not disappointed. Thanks Igor.
Hotel Da Bruno is situated just around the corner from The Rialto Bridge and a close walk to San Marco. It's quiet at night and in the morning you can rise knowing there will be a beautiful buffet breakfast that awaits you.
We loved staying here and would stay there again on our next trip.

Ideally positioned between San Marco and the Rialto Bridge and in the middle of masses of shopping, coffee, gellato and food. The staff were great and the free wi fi worked really well. The only trouble we had was the hot water boiler broke down and we had to hwve a cold shower on the coldest day of our trip to Italy.

I recently stayed here after a friend recommended it to me. Nice room, very good shower, and excellent info on Venice provided by Igor. Centrally located for prowling the San Marco neighbourhood in Venice AND a free shuttle to the island of Murano. It was wonderful!
