“realy nice”

we traveled there with all the family and a baby. The location is perfect, anyway Venice is a jewel. The hotel isn't so perfect but it doesen't preted to be . We were so scared that we'll end up in this location in front of the hotel as some people reported but I guess we were lucky and we didn't. All our group rented 3 rooms and all of them were really nice and cozy. As for the bathroom, just a shower, but it isn't so bad . In so many other places we had the same and it was ok.
The breakfast is impresive and coffee excelent . I really don,t know why other people were disapointed.
Our room was a bit cold (well..january) but the guy from the reception desk helped us with it.
so overall, a nice place, just try to find a good price. I wouldn't advice paying 200 euros for the night as I read some people did: yes, you'll have different expectations and then you'll be disapointed.

Stuff is a gang of crooks. ATTENTION it is not just my opinion it is real situation. I have approve from bank that they have stolen my money from credit card and won't return it back. They don't reject this but wan't return trying to make me foolish with stupid explanation. I have created request to the bank and to the police. Hope that personal will be catched and fired. Be attentive with Veronica and Roberta managers, they are responsible for that.
Don't use CC in this hotel and be careful with money, or better use another hotel!!!

“Beautiful Hotel Belle Arti with excellent location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We have stayed for 4 days / 3 nights at this 3* Hotel Belle Arti between Christmas and New Year time.

The location of Hotel Belle Arti is simply excellent.
We had no difficulty to find it.
The best way to get there is with vaporetto (eg. #1), which stops at Academia.
(You can check the vaporettos' timetables at http://www.actv.it/en/movinginvenice/waterbusservicestimetable )
You only have to get off, turn left and almost immediately right and after an appr. 1 min. walk on a flat street, you arrive to the check-in desk of Hotel Belle Arti.
(We've seen sooo many people struggling with their huge luggages on wheels throught the steps and bridges in the inner city.)

The location is good also for visiting the city. Saint Marc's Square and all main tourist attractions are close (in appr. 5-10 min. walk distance).

The reception of Hotel Belle Arti, (at which you have to do your check-in also for the Domus Cavanis), pretends to be super busy. The staff do not provide tourist information in extended level, they only do their minimum.
Until you do not start asking questions, they are nice.
If you want to keep this kind attitude of theirs, I advise you not force receiving answer to your touristic questions... :) If you need plus info about dining or POIs, you will have to buy a book or look for a tourist info center.

The room was very clean and simply beautiful.
There was TV, which did not work but it was not the main point for us anyway...

We found the breakfast to be very good. It is true that the type of food was the same every morning (ham, cheese, bread, cakes, yoghurt, muesli, coffee, tea, juices, etc.) but the sortiment and the volume was more than enough and their quality was perfect.

Please note when you book a hotel, the price does not include the local tourist tax, which has to be paid upon arrival.

So in general I recommend this hotel.

“Perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

Its difficult to find any faults to this hotel. It is easily accessible from airport, very close to San Marco square, Rialto bridge and the center of Venice. Rooms are stylish, very clean. Room maid visits rooms every day changing towels, glases (plastic though) and adding shampoos and soaps. Breakfast is very decent with good coffee. Staff has acceptable knowledge of English and is very helpful. Very good value for the money.

“Room reflected the beauty of Venice.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

I stayed at Bell'Arti in November 2008 whilst on a immersion-exchange with my school. There were four in my room (15-16years old) and whilst the room was rather quite small (two of us had to sleep on the couch and a camper bed) we had no complaints. It was a beautiful little room and were in awe of the venetian detail accompanying it. I don't recall having much interaction with conceirge, but I do believe they were respectful & civilised towards us (perhaps because we were students, i don't know). The breakfast was amazing! There were so many choices, although it may just have seemed that case to me as Australian breakfasts aren't that extravagant. The patio/external area of the hotel was absolutely beautiful, and had it not been winter when i had stayed there, i would have spent most of my time outside.
The only negative I have to say is the size of the elevator. You could barely fit two people in it, let alone people & baggage. I have never seen anything so tiny! I was on the third floor (room 306, i believe), too, so I have to say it was a bit of a struggle for a little 16-year-old to lug three weeks worth of winter luggage up flights of stairs.

All in all, I quite enjoyed my stay at Bell'Arti, and I don't believe I'd have any hesitation going back.
