“Very pleasant stay”

We spent 4 nights (35th Wedding Anniversary event) at Angeles Inn early October. We actually did not stay in the main hotel but in a superb annex approx 3 minutes walk away - coming to the main inn for breakfast. Place was spotlessly clean and is in the process of converting to an apartment. Lovely place - owner really pleasant and helpful. Recommended

“A Perfect Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

I stayed here last year and loved it so much booked again, I have just stayed 4 nights and it's as wonderful as last year. The location is amazing, bustling and lively but far enough away from the main tourist areas, that the prices are much cheaper.
The room was a very large double, decorated with beautifully carved and painted furniture. The bathroom was spotless and modern and the breakfasts are plentiful.
Arnulfo and his wife cannot do enough for you and are genuinely interested and care about their guests.
I would recommend this inn to anyone or maybe I should keep it to myself?????

“Very nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

We stayed 1 night in this wonderful hotel. I only can say that it was decorated with love - very beautiful rooms, nice terrace, clean bathroom, good breakfast. Also owners are very friendly and helpful. We left our bags till the evening. Also the price is acceptable.

“Wonderful Inn - I highly recommend it”

A friend and I spent 4 nights in the Angeles Inn last week. It absolutely deserves all the 5 star ratings that it's gotten on Trip Advisor. The Inn is in a great location - a 3 minute walk from the San Marcuolo Vaporetta stop. And at the end of the street were lovely streets filled with beautiful little shops and great little trattorias. The Cannaregio area of Venice is much less touristy than the San Marco area, yet there is a great buzz in the area and eating and drinking is much cheaper too. We had a lovely spacious twin room that was spotlessly clean. And we so loved having our breakfast on the gorgeous little terrace every morning. Arnulfo and Valentia were so welcoming and helpful. This is a wonderful place to stay if you're travelling to Venice - I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. (It also was terrific value for money too).

Room Tip: As there is no lift, this Inn would not be suitable for people with mobiliity problems. Otherwise...

“Magic stay in small family hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

Me and my mum spent 3 unforgetable days (2 nights) in Venice in homour of her birthday staying in this hotel: small cute room with tiny but very clean and well thought-out bathroom (I should admit that frequently there are big problems with bathrooms in Venice budget hotels).
We had our breakfast on terrace - above roofs of narrow and quiet Venice street! - we dissolved in romantic atmosphere of ancient town immediately just as stepped on the terrace.
Hotel is situated near main train station; narrow Cannaregio street leads to busy street so you can see in the morning how original (not touristic) city is waking up. Moreover there are a lot of lovely small snack bars, where you can take couple of glasses of local wine with original italian snacks. My favourite was Enoteca on Rio Tera Del Cristo - many tourists gave a wide berth to it because of its "originality" :))
Special words I'd like to express to Arnulfo and Valentina - hotel owners. They are really very helpful and careful to their guests. Arnulfo helped me very much to get a visa (unfortunatelly we still need it for Europe countries entering and rules of its obatining are very strict) - he was the only one person who understood what I needed and sent me official confirmation.
So, guys, have a nice holiday in Venice staying in family original holet Angeles Inn B&B and you'll get much pleasure! :)
