Our selected place to rest from our mini-adventure in Italy of 2 weeks across 10 different towns and cities. After experiencing fair share in mid European flair hotels, we wanted something modern, yet with character and quality.
Its may seem a little daunting on the map that is is located far from the central attractions initially. But with a short walk from ferry terminal (we got there easily from the central train station) it enabled us to venture into the city daily. One thing to note is that it is the surburbs, so do not depend on eating around the hotel at the evenings, as the only selection is the hotel restaurant and a supermarket around 15-20 mins walk away. (We dined out before returning and grabbed some snacks from the supermarket).
Breakfast was something worth waking up for every morning. Food and setting (with outdoor seating in the garden area) is good, especially when the sun is shining.
We also went on the free glass factory tour offered at the time on Murano island.
Staff and service is good.
