Enrico was our primary host and was a true gentleman. Always very helpful and upbeat, as were the other staff we interacted with. One of the reasons we chose this location was it's proximity to San Marco and other areas. It's tucked away along a canal, but within easy walking distance of primary sights. Our room was just beautiful, looking out on the canal, and quite large...as was the bathroom. Very clean, and very elegant. There is a roof top terrace with a "trust me" bar. Breakfast was outstanding, with stove top espresso, cappuccinos, and a full variety of food. There are so many places to stay in Venice, and this is one we would recommend.

The hotel is quite hidden, so it is good to have the hotel tel. nr and to make yourself a print of the map on which you design the road to take, in advance. If you intent to go to the opera (a wonderful experience) it is just around the corner. The breakfast is simple, the rooms are nice, simple, clean, quite big . The hotel is facing a small channel, the gondole are passing right under your window. From the little roof terrace you can look in the evening to the sky , enjoy the sounds of the city and a glass of wine. The only problem i had was, we gave the reception a list of 3 restaurants to book for us a table, and he did not inform us that the only table he got was outside.
In october, in the evening, outside is cold, even if they try to heat, and if we knew we would had dressed better.

Wife and I, sightseeing. Good hotel and well placed, service very good and food also good. Not exactly panoramic roof top terrace but a nice little area for supping Presecco. The double room (think it must have been a classic) we had was fine but not as good as those on their website, very plain but we didn't expect much for 3 stars over looking a "courtyard"- laundary :) typical Venice. So if you want "romantic stay" go for the other rooms, but that said a very good place to stay for sightseeing.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved that we had free internet access because it's the only contact we had with our travel agent since we couldn't use our phones for international calling. Our room was beautiful with a private terrace. At night we could hear the Gondola singers sing as they row past the hotel. Breakfast was awesome! I stuffed myself with the yummy sausages and apricot croissants! Our travel plans got messed up because of a Greece strike at the airport.... and the hotel staff was very helpful with accommodating us. My partner and I was very pleased with this hotel. We would definitely stay there again. It's only a 5 minute walk from the main San Marco square. So convenient.
