We stayed in Ca' Giorgione for five nights and found it to be a very comfortable and quiet place. The canal traffic was just fascinating and right outside our ground floor windows. Francesco, our contact was very helpful and responsive. The only negative is that the apartment was not well-supplied with essentials. No paper towels, no dish soap, no dishwasher soap, 1/2 roll toilet paper. Cooking utensils and dishes were plentiful but there were only salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar for cooking. Also, no automatic coffee maker but we learned to use the espresso stovetop one which made great coffee. Also one of the lamps was not working. We were reimbursed for the essentials we purchased and the lamp was promptly replaced. Don't let these things deter you from staying in this apartment, just check the supplies before you let the contact person leave.

We stayed here for a week. It was very comfortable and I was mesmerized by the passing canal traffic. The kitchen and bathrooms worked well and we had everything we needed.

There is a co-op nearby, along with a bakery and La Zucca is not far. The square was lovely, and not too touristy at all.

The only thing was that we only had two small towels for a week.

The service was great. I called Francesco when we were one hour away and at the train station (coming from Munich, Germany). He told me where to go and he was there to meet us and walk us to the building. He walked us to the apartment, gave us the tour, and told us to call day or night if we needed anything. We loved the whole apartment, especially for the price. You will not get this much room in a hotel for this price. It felt like a home away from home. The location was great. We walked to all the tourist attractions in 20 minutes, public transportation is five minutes away and not to mention the local feel of the area. If I HAD to mention something I didn't like, it would be the fact we didn't have a balconey or rooftop view. But, I'm just following the guidelines and these are in no way issues,nor would they keep me from staying here again. I absolutely loved it here.

Venice is beautiful city, but crowded at times, so nice to have a apartment tucked away near a nice side canal. Francessco is a gentleman as well helped at start to get us from station to apartment. Loved to see passing by boat in morning and evening sitting on sofa sipping coffee. Will def stay back here when we come back.
