The AC Padova is a good hotel, conveniently located close to the fair, (a few minutes and 10€ by taxi), with free parking and garage.
The room is enough spacious and well furnished, the same for the bathroom.
It is awkward that it is not possible to control autonomously the heat/fan, so, last weekend, even if we were at the end of october, the room was terribly hot, and it was not possible to have fresh air, only hot! We had to sleep with our window open, hearing the traffic noise.

very convenient, very clean and well furnished hotel. In the room there is no carpet which is very good like people who has allergic reaction against and they don't charge minibar consumption in the room, they are not offering much choice but free water and coke it's already good enough. The price is very good comparing the hotel standard in italy. Very close to the highway also not far from the city center.

This hotel becomes a "proper" Marriott in November 2011 so no points and no Marriott services till then. The biggest difference between this AC and a Marriott is the breakfast. There was no hot food on display and the only bread on offer was pre-sliced toasting bread ...... and this is Italy!! There were several plates of biscuits but where were all the delicious Italian breads and rolls? We asked for scrambled eggs and received a meagre offering, no bacon or any other additions. Dreadful. The only other negative comments are bar prices, 10 Euro for a single measure of whisky, and Internet prices, 10 Euro for 1 hour. Otherwise, this hotel had smiling helpful reception staff, comfortable beds, good blockout light curtains, spacious rooms and bathrooms with bath/shower combos.

It's a modern and 'business style' hotel. It's located about 3 Kms from the center of the city in an industrial area. In fact, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is not travelling by car. If you rent a car, this is the perfect hotel to explore Padova and Venice, for a fraction of a Venice's hotel price. You can find supermarkets near the hotel.

Pros: modern, clean, stylish, free mini bar (! as in most AC Hotels), very friendly staff , free parking (this is not typical in Italy!), good breakfast and good restaurant (try the spaghetti with clams and drink a nice italian sparkling water).

Cons: Location - if you don't travel by car, it will be a problem for you to move around.
