“Free Wi-Fi and helpful manager”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

Mixed reviews of Hotel Corso on booking.com but I was very pleased with my stay on business. The double room was small but quite adequate for the competitive price. I am glad I didn't book a single. It faced the main street to the station ( Corso del populo) but the blind and the window kept most of the noise out.
There was a plentiful breakfast served on what looked like a terrace which had been glassed over . The people were very friendly . The manager on reception was particularly good in helping me get past the swipe card protected door and into the bank round the corner to get cash from the ATM.
The hotel is at the top end of Corso del populo and so away from the station. I agree with other reviewers that the station end of the Corso can appear threatening with the sorts of people there in the evening/night.

Room Tip: Booka double even if travelling alone.

“Will definitely stay at this same place when I'm back to Padova”

Crossing Padova from time to time I stay at Corso. What buys me is a nice&helpful stuff, low prices, amazing breakfast and warm atmosphere in general. There is a cable for the internet connection and two computers as well for guests.

For those who would like to save some money: as I tried to book the cheapest room which is with shared bathroom, I couldn't get it through internet, however I always have been lucky enough to get it right there.

“Great location, great service, adequate room with ants and poor AC”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 June 2010

We chose this hotel based on the price and location, and were not let down on either count. We also received excellent service, from both of the front desk personnel that we dealt with. The room however left a bit to be desired. The way the shower set up was, it left water all over the floor of the bathroom after each shower, there were ants living in the bathroom, and the AC did not work very well, making sleep difficult, at least during the warm nights that we spent there. The furniture could use some updating, but was fine for us. Also the room size was decent for a European hotel. EXCELLENT breakfast, which was included with our rate. Our second morning we had to leave very early, but they accommodated us anyway by making sure we got some coffee and breakfast. Overall it was a fine stay for the money, and we might stay there again if we visited Padua, as the location, service, and breakfast were excellent.
