Driving to destinations in Europe, we normally stop at Accor hotels because they are cheap (and sometimes comfortable but the standards vary incredibly). This Ibis however is one of the best that we have stayed at!!
The room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The en-suite was also large and clean. The A/C in the room actually worked and was quiet and the sheets were soft and cosy. I can not tell you what a surprise this Ibis was!
The parking was easy and convenient and the hotel was located right off of the motorway. We used this Ibis as a stopping point on the way to Venice (which was only about half an hour away) as it was much cheaper than anything near Venice. However, this meant that we did not actually go into Padua so I can not comment on its location in relation to the city centre.
The one negative was that the restaurant was very expensive (a beer was 4.50 for example) but we found a fantastic pizzeria about 10 minutes away towards the town centre. Overall, this was an amazing value and a fantastic hotel!
