Just a real mixed experience. We booked through a web search engine and thought the tripadvisor reviews of the hotel were decent. But we were housed in the annex which was not clear at the time of booking.

The annex is a couple of hundred metres form the main hotel, has its own small breakfast room, but no bar or lounge and has a small chaotic sometimes staffed reception.

On the plus side this annex is located directly adjacent to the main ski lift. Brilliant. The rooms in the hotel are of a decent size, are pleasantly furnished with well sized bathrooms too. Good.

On the downside, the staff are very disorganised, reception is sometimes staffed and sometimes not. Ski lockers are located in the gatage of the hotel and you need to carry skis through the hotel to get out and reception staff gave other guests another key to our locker. To check out you have to go up to the main hotel. Breakfast is not particularly appealing and is poorly staffed by not enough waiting staff who were generally unfriendly or rude.

Frankly a real mixed bag. If you are skiing, and the price is not bad, then it is worth considering, with your eyes open to the weak spots. If you are not skiing, you should not go there.

The hotel is at best a 3 star but more likely a 2 star. The location is good, close to the ski lift but Courmayeur is not a large resort so nothing is far away. Staff were not very friendly or helpful, the annex where we stayed is old and on the main road. Breakfast is very poor. There are many other good hotels to choose from.

We were placed in the Annexe (which was a surprise but worked out well) - which is only 30 metres from the main cable car station (but still a very quiet location).

All other features of hotel were OK - breakfast adequate, rooms clean and fresh.

We had asked for twin beds, i.e. 2 singles, but ended up with a double bed and a pull-out bed which wasn't what we had expected.

Courmayeur a very pleasant town, good food, can be pricey

We stayed in Domina hotel for 3 nights for skiing and it wasn't even close to what we expected.
This is not 4 star hotel, not even close. Domina is 2 stars hotel that costs much more than it should. The only plus is location - very close to the skilift. All the rest is awful. First of all be ready that they will give you a room not in the main building but in the other one where there is no bar, no restaurant and almost no reception (there was a desk but nobody at the desk ever). Most of the rooms in the building were facing a busy road - so it was hard to fall asleep even with all the windows and curtains closed. The rooms itself were poor and old with very cheap furniture and carpets. looked lik hostel's rooms. And the worst thing was hotel's staff - very unfriendly and unhelpfull. Don't evevrlisten to there recomendations - they offer awful retaurants bars and skirents. And be ready thatcgheck in is at 5p.m. and checkout is at 10 am. And they won't let you stay even 15 minutes longer. Very poor service, awful hotel!
