Have just spent a few days in Cervinia meeting up with my boys, and what a lovely place it is. Having read reviews of the Mignon, I booked up for a twin room for 4 days. On arrival I was not disappointed as it met up to my expectations. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Location is very good, there is a ski locker but I did not use it. The slopes are only a short distance away. I booked for B and B and there was a wide variety of options you could have for breakfast, even eggs fried to perfection and I received excellant service from the restaurant staff. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Alpine style and there was always warm water from the shower. There is a televion in the room which has sky. You do pay per person in a twin room, with no discount (which as English we are not used to as we usually pay per room) and this did hit my pennies a lttle. However I knew this when I booked.
When I asked for anything (like an extra pillow) they sorted it.
The hotel does supply other meals in addition to breakfast which were not inclusive in my basic price. The quality is good but expect to pay Eurozone prices (about 30 euro) per head!
I would revisit this hotel and will recommend it to my friends. I would like to return in the summer as I think this location is beautiful. I will always have a happy memory of this hotel and of Cervinia.
