We have stayed here every year for the past 7 years. We have travelled all over the world and have stayed in many Relais & Chateaux. This place is one of our favorites. We love the perfect combination of professional, yet friendly staff. The rooms are simply, but very carefully decorated. You have to stay here to understand how sublime the experience is. The spa and steam room is a perfect place to end a day on the slopes!

They are very accommodating of well behaved young children and we travel here as a family.

Did I mention that the skiing is fantastic? The run from the top of the Kleine Matterhorn to the Cervinia is GORGEOUS.

I frequented this hotel just to use the spa and have a treatment.

All I can say is that it was fab! The nice therapist, Sara, was so accommodating and gave me a massage suited to my needs. Very clean and relaxing. Would recommend after a hard day on the slopes!

It costs only 20E to use the spa facilities - reasonable.

family owned hotel with good service and friendly personnel. Food is OK without being extraordinary. Good facilities in the hotel (swimming, fitness etc). Location is OK with view on monte cervino. Good spot to explore the mountains. Rooms however are noisy. We stayed in a junior suite connected with the room of kids. But no problem hearing the neighbours discuss, watch TV, use bathroom and that should'nt be the case in an hotel with this price tag.

This year is probably the 6th time I have stayed at The Hermitage. It is without doubt the best alpine hotel I have stayed in. The feel of the hotel is that of a luxurious alpine wooden lodge with five star service and superior quality everywhere you look.
A stenuous day on the slopes is topped off with a swim in the pool, a sauna and steam room and if you have very tired muscles check-in for a massage.
Dinner is served in a gorgeous room with a well stocked wine cellar, there is also a fabulous appetiser-buffet selection and 3 courses of tasty good quality meat and fish and puddings from the trolley.
This is a Five Star hotel so expect high prices and if you are paying from GBP sterling then you really will feel the pinch when you check-out. Worth every penny? Yes indeed.
