I have just returned from a two night stay in this hotel. It suited my needs of being in the town centre and next to the hospital in Aosta where the purpose of my stay was to visit someone in there.
The hotel is not very welcoming. There seems to be just two members of staff, an elderly man who would rather sit in the living room watching TV then attend to you at the reception desk. And a surly young girl serving coffee in the morning.
NO English is spoken at the hotel apart from the word OK! So i really struggled with this. The room i stayed in was a double room. It is tiny. Thank goodness I was on my own, otherwise my husband and i would have had to take turns at getting off the bed to get dressed. The room had a horrible smell to it as well.
Breakfast is just pastries and cornfakes, same every day. I spoke to a woman who had been there a week and she said the breakfast offerings never altered.
On the plus side, the bed sheets were clean and the shower worked, thats about all the plus points i can muster up i'm afraid! I suppose you get what you pay for as this hotel is only 48 Euros a night and 6 Euros for breakfast, so very cheap. Its just not somewhere i would have chosen given a choice. And they need to sort out different staffing as well. Its unaceptable to have nobody who can speak the English lanugauge when they clearly state on their web site that they do.
