The hotel is very close to the railway and bus stations and the piazzas. The lady at the reception is helpful and gives a lot of tourist information with maps etc.The rooms are cosy with a very good view of the mountains. There is no air-conditioning. Most of the rooms face a busy street, where there is continuous traffic and people...the sound of the vehicles and people talking goes on until the wee hours of the morning. This is quite disturbing. The single beds were a bit too narrow with rounded edges...quite easy for children to fall off the beds. Breakfast was reasonably ok, with cereal, breads, cheeses but there were no cut fruits. Whole kiwis, apples and pears were on the table... tourists generally dont have much time to cut these or have the whole fruit. Internet and a laptop is available near the breakfast room but the connectivity is very slow.Although the hotel is neat and clean, it looks fairly jaded and the interiors and furnishings/fixtures need renovation. While in Aosta a visit to 'Take-Away Kebabs- Iqbal' is a must. It is 3-5 minutes walk away from Hotel Turin in the pedestrian plaza. As you come out of the hotel, go to your left a few feet, and then turn right at the vacant ground, and again turn right. You'll see the orange awning of the Take Away. Very good, fresh food which is excellent value for money. There is not much seating and there is absolutely no ambience, but there are bar stools and high tables for a quick meal.
