We stayed for a week's ski-ing holiday so was not disappointed with the accomodation - we have stayed in far more basic rooms that were classed as 4*. For a city centre hotel I would not say it is 4* as the rooms and public areas are dated and tired, the decor looks a bit 80's, but as a base for a ski holiday it was fine. The bedding and towels were clean and presentable and everywhere was very clean. The staff were very polite and helpful, the service was very good. We paid 10euros for 24 hours internet for the room, which was timed by the second so lasted the week. We booked a package so had a set menu with 4 course meals, each of which had choices. The food was good and there was lots of it. There were no hot options for breakfast but the continental buffet was more than adequate with lots of choice, personally I don't go to Italy expecting a full English cooked breakfast and was more than happy with what was on offer. The hotel itself was very quiet but, being at the front of the hotel, we did get some noise from local youngsters who gathered in the square during the evening but this did not go on very late. Although we were there to ski, we did look around the town - the hotel is ideally placed for sightseeing and is also only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Pila gondola. We were very happy with our stay and, as part of a package holiday, found it very good value for money. The room had Sky T.V., minibar, hairdryer, toiletries and safe. However, I would have been slightly disappointed if I had been expecting a 4* city centre hotel, it is neither an elegant, grand hotel or a quirky boutique hotel but is o.k. for what it is.
