If you stay here, do not eat here. The food quality and preparation are terrible. The food doesn't seem to be fresh, breads are stale, vegetables are overcooked, meats look and taste like frozen dinners. The rooms are dirty and musty. My room, #207, had a crack 6 feet in length along the ceiling with mold growing in it. The management and staff are arrogant and unfriendly.

The whole place was so non-American hotel chain, we were elated. Don't mean to gush, but when people get it right, I like to give them credit. The room was decorated in dark wood, plush, modern but elegant, a tremendous value for the money. Service was warm personable and expert. We are definitely finicky, hard to please demanding types. Parking was plentiful and it was an easy walk to the old city, and a great location to drive up the adjoining valleys. We almost passed on the Mont Blanc gondola (15 minutes up the road) thinking it was kind of touristy but the experience put the meaning back in the word awesome.
