My wife and I stayed here two nights during our vacation. The location can't be beat, right off the lovely duomo and on a very charming street. Prices were modest. First night in a room with a private bath, second night saved some money staying in a room with hallway bath (but sink in room).

We certainly didn't forget we were in a budget hotel. Rooms were small and basic albeit clean. Beds below average. Noisier than average when we were there, maybe the noisiest place we stayed in Italy. We had no hot water for showers one morning. Breakfast was pretty typical -- a yogurt, decent rolls, a basket of spreads, and cappuccino.

Some older reviews here noted unfriendly staff, but the staff was perfectly pleasant when we were there.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay between more memorable places. This fit the bill, but there may be better options out there.

My wife and I stayed here for several nights during the annual festival in Trento. We had a large but very basic room on the top floor, so it was warm and we had to leave the windows open (no AC). Although we were close to the main square, it was not that noisy, and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was simple but good and the service was efficient. Our room was clean, but overall the hotel looks old and in need of some improvements and cleaning. The breakfast staff and cleaning ladies (mother and daughter) were very pleasant, but the front desk staff were not particularly pleasant or helpful. If you want a reasonably priced, VERY basic room in the center of the old town, AND you speak some Italian, this is a great place.

We had a 4 bed large room for 100 euros a night which included an excellent continental breakfast. Length of stay 4 nights.
The room and beds were fine and everything very clean, the position is first class, you can drive up to the hotel to deposit luggage then park 200 yds away near the university.
Much better value than the hostels we used.
Trento is a lovely town with great roads near by and Lake Garda half an hour away.

While staying at this hotel, I witnessed a spectacle in the front lobby. The staff were yelling at a young woman whose passport they had lost. They then began knocking on various guests doors if they could hear them awake and ordering them to go to sleep. This place should be shut down. You don't have to believe me, but if you have even a shred or a shadow of a doubt, I beg you to stay elsewhere. It will be the best decision you ever make!
