“Old rooms, high price”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 February 2010

Stayed in the hotel for one night.
Payed 94 Euro, which is not too much comparing to the other hotels in the Trento center, but still too much.
The hotel is in the center, but not as close to Duomo as most other hotels in the center.

The room seemed very old and unpleasant. The room and the shower had unpleasant smell.

There is an elevator and a free parking.

We had to leave very early, at 5PM. The hotel staff told us they will be able to deliver something to eat for us at this time, which was tea/coffee, croissants, and few other kinds of pastries.

“Business Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2009

I booked this hotel for a business trip in Trento, and that is what this hotel should serve as. Whilst I understand that some other reviewers were a little disappointed, I must stress that the hotel is not that bad.

I booked a single and got a double, on the front (road) side. The room was clean and small (actually normal in size by European standards). The reception was ok (not especially friendly...) and the breakfast worked fine. Don't expect too much from it, it just works. The hotel is situated a little outside of the "old" town, 10-15min walk from the station, which can be a bit far for some, but there is a bus stop not far (Buses seem to work in Trento, amazing for Italy!)

So you might ask: what was wrong? Well not that much. This is Italy, right? So for sure something isn't right. In my case, the door of my room closed fine but the lock didn't "lock". I could also criticise the electric blinds which were noisy and could wake some up in the morning. My room also had a balcony... which I couldn't use since I just had a half-height window. And you could say that the fake orange-juice in the morning is a shame...

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for holiday, but for business or short stay it works fine.

“The worst hotel in Italy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 May 2009

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It was the only hotel with vacancies (now i know why) and frankly i wish I'd slept in my car. I was on a trip around Italy and it was the most expensive out of all of the hotels i stayed in and by far the worst. The room was tiny and horrid. We ate in the restaurant which resenbled a canteen and was like a scene from Faulty Towers except it lacked any humour. The waitresses were sweet but being bossed around by three vile managers barking orders at them. The food was horrid and overpriced. The photos on their website do not reflect the actual hotel at all. AVOID
