I only stayed one night, but the hotel was delightful. Right on the main square, you couldn't be any closer to the action. The rooms, though not big, are so well designed, with slide-out shelves and electronic features, that it feels very adequate. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in Europe. All in all, it was a terrific stay. I

Guest service is perfect. Breakfast is perfect. Rooms and baths are perfect! Everything there is soo classy, "tres chic". Even the location is the best at Bolzano.

My wife became craze about the luxurious and cozy stay. It turned in to our second honeymoon.

It´s been a truly unique experience. I felt like a sheik or sultan, without breaking the bank. I think you would pay four times or more to have something close to the Greif experience at a bigger city.

We stayed in Room 307 - spacious and comfortable. We were very impressed by the hotel receptionists in particular who were all very helpful with local information, booking restaurants etc. Nothing was too much trouble. The service was very personal. The breakfast room is airy and pleasant and the breakfast is varied and delicious. We had dinner in the neighbouring Hotel Laurin one evening which was exceptionally good and also has a very relaxing bar.

I'd also recommend the Vogele restaurant & for somewhere less formal,The Batzenhausl.

We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed for longer! We stayed in a junior suite and it was able to accommodate two extra beds for our kids and still have plenty of space. The service was great and the staff very helpful. They recommended a good restaurant to eat at and helped me find a great running/biking path by the river. The best thing was the breakfast. All the usual things were there--cheeses, fruits, meats and pastries--but the assortment and variety were impressive. The apple strudel was fabulous!
