Our stay in Bolzano was the last stop on a five day trip through the Dolomiti. Arriving early (before noon) we were greeted warmly. Although too early to check in, the front desk staff stored our luggage, took our cell number and called us when our room was ready (2 PM). When we arrived back at the hotel, out timing was not right as there were two huge buses filled with student band members checking in. We expected to have to wait at least a half hour to get our key, but the front desk staff recognized us and slipped us in ahead of the band. They were always very helpful and gracious.
Our room was quite large and comfortable with a full bath including tub. The only negatives we experienced during our stay were: 1) the small single elevator is not adequate for a six story hotel, and 2) hotel policy of not allowing pets at breakfast.
Overall, a very nicely run hotel, comfortable and centrally located between the train station and the central square of Bolzano.
