This hotel has an excellent location, just a short walk from the square and its quiet. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. My room was basic but had everything I needed i.e. bed, bathroom with shower (no bath) and free wifi. Breakfast was excellent.

We came to Bolzano with the intention of making it our base with which we could take day trips to surrounding towns as well as explore Bolzano. We planned to stay for 10 days. However, my wife fell ill and consequently we could not move for almost 4 weeks. The front desk help us tremendously regarding our medical emergency as well as general transportation, food marketing (my wife went on a restricted diet) and site seeing. The managers and the rest of the staff were also extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is only a short walk from the train station but far enough so that the trains will not bother you. The hotel is located in the old town. Be sure to walk, jog or ride your bike near the river. Breakfast is also very good.

Having selected this hotel after reading comments on Trip Advisor, we were disappointed to arrive and find it shabby and very dated. The one lift services six floors, and carries only 7 people at a time. We found the food in the in-house restaurant disappointing, with an unimaginative menu and lack-lustre presentation. Temperatures were hot during our stay and we really would have liked air-conditioning, (though fans were available at the office). As well, this hotel is over-priced. On a brighter note, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is certainly in a great location.

A room with a view- shared a triple- one bed had its own area separated by a wall !
Breakfast was plentiful.- Cereals, fresh fruit, tasty bread and desserts, coffee, tea and assorted juices. Asked and got a late checkout. Staff was extremely helpful. Close to train , car rental, tourist office and travel agent just a block away. Would recommend this hotel to anyone in this area. And the price was right!!!!
