Overall I have nothing to complain about this hotel. Very clean, staff was very helpful with suggestions on place to visit, the location is great: close to the former main train station, Porta Nuova, and a few minutes walking from any important sights in town. However, it's a budget hotel, so I wasn't astonished enough to rate it more. The room was quite small, as in many European hotels. But at least you can open the window. A very positive note was the breakfast: good choice between salty and sweet products.
I don't actually know if the staff can speak English. I can speak Italian.
When I will go back to Turin (and I will, because the town is magnificent), I will choose again this hotel!

We loved staying here and can't wait to come back. We were awakened in the morning by the incredible smell of croissants wafting up to our room. Staff were unbelievably nice, helpful, and entertaining, maybe the best I've ever encountered. Location is very central and staff directed us to genuinely good food in the neighborhood.
We had such a good experience here, we would not consider staying anywhere else in Torino.

We enjoyed being in this hotel. Especially the people who run the place impressed us: young people, very freindly and helpful. This starts at the reception, goes to the service at breakfast (by the way a very good buffet) and includes the room service.
If we visit Torino again (the city is really worth more than one visit...) we will most probably stay again at the Urbani!

A horrible, horrible bathroom with a shower door that didn't shut and no light into the shower so u end up showering in the dark. Also the worst bed with two singles pushed together. However a gap kept appearing between the two resulting in an uncomfortable sleep. The staff didn't speak very good English which is understandable but if you are after that type of assistance with dining recommendations etc they aren't very helpful. I would not stay here again. I think there is a best western near the station. Stay there if u are after a similar location
