We arrived in this budget hotel after a long train journey from Cannes, France and was welcomed by nice, respectful, happy staff. The hotel is located under a serious of stone arches and columns reminiscent of the Michael Caines Italian Job film.

The room was nice and airy and the air conditioning worked a treat in the warm Piedmont heat. Only downside and it was only small, was that there was no english speaking TV channels i.e.) BBC CNN or free WI-FI.

Location is great, just of the train station (no or very little noise from the train station) and a nice leisurely 15 minute stroll to the City Centre.

We will both return to this great city and to this very good budget hotel

ps: we found the restaurants loacted around the hotel to better, more ambient and cheaper.

Turin is such a beautiful city adorned with stunning buildings and classy people and this hotel was perfectly situated for us near a main rail station. The staff were delightful, the breakfasts were superb and the rooms were clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. The bustling road outside our rooms was noisy but the windows in the rooms shut out the din effectively, (a/c was standard in all rooms). Beautiful architecture on every floor and some tasteful paintings and prints on the walls.

I stayed in the hotel for one night with 3 friends as a part of Italy road trip. We did not have a reservation and just stumbled onto the hotel.
Rooms were very clean and spacious and provided amazing value for money as we payed only 59 euros for the night with breakfast included.
Location was also good as it took us only 5 minutes by taxi to get to the hart of city.
On the other hand the front office clerk that checked us in, Gabrielo, was just horrible. He did not show any hospitality and had a very hostile, unhelpful attitude in communicating with us. It went so far that when we asked if a roll away bed can be arranged for an extra person to stay in the room, he responded that he does not want to put it in even though there was plenty of space in the room to do it. We even offered to do it ourselves but he just laughed it off, so our 5th friend had to find another place to spend the night.
Great value for money for the room - poor service.

This hotel is a basic 3-star: my room was small, clean. It was at the back of the building. The window looked onto a metal balcony that was also the balcony for the neighboring room (which did not seem to have a window, just a door onto this balcony): so this lessened privacy. The breakfast buffer was a bit plainer than that for equivalent hotels in Italy that I stayed at, possibly because it caters to a 'conservative' clientele (older, English-speakers). The major problem was that it is on the fringe of the central city and over a kilometer walk to the center of the city where the major sights are; some of this walk is pretty but the parts closest to the hotel are not what you would call 'chic'. If you have limited time in Torino (which has some fabulous sights) you don't want to spend time tiring yourself out with long walks just to get to the centro.
