Finding a hotel for our group in center city Torino was a bit of a challenge. We thought this was going to be a great place, but the dirty bathrooms, and lack of hot water mostly spoiled it.
The rooms were classic european hotel rooms. Not too big, and each one was different. In addition, this hotel is divided in two halves. Maybe we were in the older, less well maintained half, I don't know, but our group had the majority of the rooms on this side, and there was nobody else using the other rooms. Mornings were horrible. In my room, there was a huge skylight over the shower and cold air was streaming down on top of me. The shower was tiny, and moldy. If I could have gotten hot water I might have been able to shower and warm up, unfortunately I was not able to get any hot water the first day. The second day I got up early so I got a warmer shower but the water pressure was so low that it was impossible to really get myself wet.
The staff was pretty friendly, but only one of them spoke any english, so that made it a real challenge.
Although the web site makes it sound like you get free WiFI that is NOT TRUE, you have to pay for internet access (wired in your room) or WiFi. The website also makes it sound like you will get free transportation passes with your room. That is also NOT TRUE.
The location is quite convenient. Its a very walkable distance to the Puerto Nuova train station, City Centro is just a couple blocks away, and you are right off one of the main bus routes.
