My wife and I stayed one weekend in early December '09 and liked it very much. It's been renovated recently (few years ago) although they've kept some old furniture in teh hallways and rooms.
The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was TV with a few channels (mostly Italian) but then again, we didn't come to Turin to watch TV :) Room was equiped with a small fridge and safebox. There was roomservice but we never used it.
Service was professional and friendly; staff were always available.
Breakfast was ok (Italian style) - good coffee.
It's located about 3 streets east of the main train station, in a quiet area of Turin. Via Roma was about 7 minutes by foot. Since it's a quiet street, we found parking quite easily. The hotel also offers private parking in conjunction with a nearby parking garage (extra charge).
To mention one negative point, we found the showers a bit small.
Still, I would recommend Hotel Liberty for those looking for a good, simple, comfortable, quiet, efficient hotel near the center of Turin.
