“Basic yet central, comfortable and cheap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

This three-star hotel is listed under two different names: Astoria and Four Seasons. It is part of the Accord chain. We spent 12 nights there over the Christmas/New Year period. Its location is ideal for those who intend to use Torino as a base to explore Il Piemonte: it is just a stone's throw away from Porta Nuova train station. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and Internet is provided for free.

Having read previous reviews, on arrival we asked reception to give us a spacious room considering the fact that we were going to stay there for 12 nights. And they did. The room was quiet; the bathroom was OK too. The buffet breakfast is similar to that in other Accord hotels.

For a three-star hotel we would recommend the place. It lacks frills but it is cheap, central, clean and comfortable.

“Title of my review”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

Internet was available intermittently. The worst thing was being unable to communicate with the receptionist who did not know a word in English :(
Otherwise, not so bad, but you can improve significantly with little effort.

“Just average quality with very good location.....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

Average quality hotel, but the location is very good - near the main street of Turin and not too far to the very nice river area. I had a very, very small single room on one of the highest floor, but I can not complain about everything although the bathroom was also quite small. It was the budget single room booked by special low price. I assume it was the smallest single room for only one person avaliable for extra cheep price. These rooms need some improvements and it would be quite nice then. I booked it because of the perfect location, special price and some very good opinions. Breakfast was rather nice, I would even say - a little more then average. Hotel staff on the reception desk was nice and helpfull. I can recommend this hotel despite of some it's negative points. There are two very nice restaurants just around the corner with a very tasty real italian pizza.

“Needs major improvement”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

Firs off the sign outside does not have the hotel name. Then the hotel room lacks any imagination in design: huge bed, basically no other furniture. The bathroom: just not clean, evident signs of humidity in the rooftop. Just not a pleasant stay.

“Citytrip Turijn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We found the room not what we expected. The walls and the floor have to be repainted
urgently. The bath was very small. I could hardly sit in it.
We had the name 'All Seasons Torino P.N.'. We looked at the website with 4 pictures.
When we arrived we foud out that this is Hotel Astoria. The pictures of Astoria are totally
different. They show beautifull rooms, but they are taken 5 or 10 years ago.
sorry.
