First of all, it is well located - close to the railway station, metro and trams, and some 15-20 min walking from the very hart of the city. The staff is friendly, breakfast is good (there is an early morning service), rooms are clean, there is a free internet. During both of my stays the windows were facing to a secondary street or to the inner yard, so I did not hear the noise of the big street. There is an air conditioner that works fine. One little food shop is located around the corner (it closes early) and another one is at the railway station (closes something like 20:30). The area around the hotel feels pretty safe.

We always stay at this hotel when we go to Torino. It's centrally located, within easy walking distance of Torino's most beautiful piazze: Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Carignano, & Piazza Castello (a 4th piazza worth visiting is Piazza Vittorio Veneto, only a little further away). The hotel's staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet (usually included in the rate) is ample and tasty--much more than just a continental breakfast, and the rooms are modern and comfortable (not oversized, however). Despite its location on Corso Vittorio, it's pretty quiet--though you might want to ask for an interior room if you're particularly sensitive to noise. It used to be especially convenient because of its location immediately opposite Porta Nuova, the main train station. Now, however, many trains bypass Porta Nuova and stop only at Porta Susa. No problem: just take Torino's new metro line (1 euro/person), and you're there in under 10 minutes. Rates drop during the summer because of the reduced business clientele.

It's hard to use the word budget when you are paying in Euro but this hotel fit the bill. I was looking for a place that would be decent after I traveled half a day to reach it but it didn't need to have a lot on offer as I was only staying a night. The location next to the train station gave me pause at first but made no difference in the end. This hotel is well maintained and the staff is very attentive. They placed me in a smoking room and when I asked to move they took care of it immediately and even gave me a better room. The hotel is well located for transport and walking around the center of Torino. The breakfast that is included with the room is also another positive. It was a pretty impressive spread for a hotel of this type. Eggs, pastries, fruit, cheese, yogurt. I have stayed in better places with worst breakfast. Torino is definitely worth a visit with lots of historical sites, good shopping and a local vibe almost everywhere you go. If I head back I'll probably look to book this place again. The price is right and so is everything else.

Room was set up well for business travel ... internet access was very good from room. Breakfast was served 7-10am, but I didn't eat there. Bed was average, but linens were clean. Room had a desk and comfortable chairs, so working in the room was nice. Great location ... next to train station at the end of Via Roma ... convenient walk to all the attractions and sights. Quiet at night. Clean bathroom. Maid service was very good.
